- Informal social event: 8:30-10pm at The Chasseur, 3328 Foster Ave, Baltimore, MD 21224. The reservation is upstairs, under “AutoML Conference”
- Roundtable lunch. Have you ever wondered who else is working in your area of research? Do you want to network, find new collaborations, exchange ideas or share experiences on a specific topic? This is the right event for you! We’ll collect topics that are of interest to AutoML-Conf attendees and provide dedicated tables for each topic where you can discuss and connect. Of course there will also be lunch. The topics are as follows, and there will be a table for each topic on both Monday and Wednesday:Benchmarking, Experimentation & Reproducibility
- Evolutionary Methods in & for AutoML
- Reinforcement Learning in & for AutoML
- Zero cost proxies for NAS
- Hyperparameter Optimization
- Open source & Tooling
- Bayesian optimization in & for AutoML
- Large (Language) Models in & for AutoML
- Societal Impact of AutoML: Fairness, Environment & Safety
- Meta-Learning
- Research speed dating. Are you up for meeting new people? We will do several quick rounds where you get to know other attendees of the conference that you might not otherwise meet. This is an excellent opportunity to get to know the AutoML community and extend your network.
- Reception. After the research speed dating, we will have a reception with light dinner and drinks at the conference venue so you can continue networking, by, e.g., continuing conversations you started during the research speed dating.
- Banquet. This will be the main social event, a dinner on a yacht in the Baltimore Inner Harbor. Please meet at 555 Light St, Baltimore, MD 21202 at 6:45pm, on time. If you’re late and left behind there will be no refund. Buses from JHU take more than 30 minutes (there is a Silver City link running at 6:15 from Saint Paul St. & 31st St. to Lee St.), and a lot attendees might take an Uber, increasing the wait time, so please plan ahead.
The full program can be found in the schedule.
